Product Information

Aquabranch specialises in selling natural driftwood and aquarium-safe wood, including:

XS Spiderwood (5–15 cm, random selection)

S Spiderwood (10–20 cm, random selection)

M Spiderwood (15–25 cm, random selection)

L Spiderwood (20–30 cm approx., based on product photos)

XL Spiderwood (40–60 cm approx., based on product photos)

XXL Spiderwood (60+ cm approx., based on product photos)

Mangrove / Natural Driftwood (size varies)

Natural Product Disclaimer

Driftwood will not arrive waterlogged and may float initially.

Sinking methods: pre-soak for several days, or secure using cable ties / thread onto rocks until fully waterlogged.

New wood may develop white/green biofilm or mould when first submerged — this is harmless, natural and commonly eaten by shrimp and some fish.

Spiderwood may release little to no tannins.

Mangrove wood may release significant tannins, turning water brown — this is harmless. Soaking or boiling (up to 1 hour) is recommended to reduce tannins faster.

Natural variations in shape, size, colour and branching are normal and expected.

Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Prices may change without notice.

Orders must be fully paid at checkout to be processed.

Shipping Policy

Orders are shipped next weekday after purchase.

If ordered on Friday → shipped Monday

If ordered Monday → shipped Tuesday

Shipping times depend on the chosen courier and location.

Customers must ensure correct shipping details. We are not responsible for delays or lost parcels due to incorrect addresses.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy, but due to the nature of the products, the following applies:

No change-of-mind refunds or returns

Minor Shipping Damage

Small or delicate branches can naturally break during transit

These can typically be repaired with aquarium-safe superglue

This does not qualify for a refund

Major Damage or Wrong Item

You are entitled to a refund if:

A large main branch arrives broken

The wrong item was sent

In such cases, you may choose:

A full refund after returning the product, or

A partial refund and keep the product

Requirements for Refund Claims

Claims must include photos and/or unboxing video taken upon delivery

Claims must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the parcel

After 7 days, refunds/returns cannot be accepted

Customer Responsibility

Buyer must follow proper aquarium preparation steps before placing wood into a tank

We are not responsible for livestock health issues caused by improper wood preparation

Liability

Aquabranch is not liable for:

Natural variations in wood products

Issues arising from improper use, soaking or tank preparation

Delays caused by shipping partners

Biofilm, tannins or mould development

Products are used at the customer’s own risk.
